This is a new role in a busy team for an Exeter based technology company, which has arisen out of growth. You’ll be part of a team who support the sales function within this successful, growing and award winning SME.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment in a customer facing role, who has strong administration skills and can work on their own initiative. Must be IT literate, have good communication skills, a positive outlook and career minded. The role will develop around the right person and there are some good career opportunities, as the business grows.
Your primary role is to support the sales team and to be the first point of contact in the department. The calls into the department could be from existing or prospective business customers or a member of the sales team needing your help. You could be generating quotes or proposals, booking meetings, working on the CRM system ensuring that sales are running smoothly/managing the pipeline, generating reports or other general admin duties. You will also be expected to look for sales opportunities/leads which might come into the department via your inbox, from research you do or from information you might hear about locally, although this does NOT mean you’ll be cold calling (unless you want to!)
