This is a newly created role for a sales and marketing company who are actively regularly moving into new markets and need someone to manage that process from start to finish.
This role would suit someone like an Account Manager or Account Executive, who might have worked within a creative agency, or someone who has been in a Coordinator role managing multiple projects/being client facing who has some marketing related skills.
Your role will be to research new markets and establish a need before then planning a project, and coordinating the appropriate resources, to test whether it’s viable to launch into the market. You’ll put the necessary processes in place to make sure that things run as smoothly as possible. Once the ‘test campaign’ has been running you will analyse the results before deciding (with the senior team) whether it makes business sense to launch fully into that market. It is expected that you’ll test 3 new markets each quarter with the expectation being that 1 will result in a full blown project launch. There’s an unlimited amount of markets to explore and test and so the expectation is that this will be a busy, fun and rewarding role.
We are looking for someone highly organised who has some knowledge/interest in marketing. You’ll be a confident communicator who is comfortable liaising with the directors, customers and internal departments such as sales or marketing and able to manage those resources effectively to hit deadlines. Must have a level of analytical skill in order to measure and analyse results, to establish whether a project has the potential to be profitable – and therefore worth pursuing. There will be small amount of marketing creativity required as you’ll be creating landing pages for the project – this will involve writing copy and uploading images as opposed to any coding – although if you knew HTML that would be of benefit. A key element to the requirement is that you are able to manage a busy workload and look after multiple projects and conflicting deadlines.
There will be a good basic salary and a very competitive bonus structure which could see you earning a significant more each year, based on hitting set KPIs.
